The End Drug Shortages Alliance committees are a vital part of our success as they support our strategic direction and mission. While serving on a committee is voluntary, we do ask that you be engaged and use your skills to accomplish the committee’s goals and objectives. Committee meetings occur once a month via Zoom.

Together, our member-driven, industry-led alliance takes collaborative action to safeguard patient access to essential medicines.

Transparency &
​Redundancy Committee

• Focuses on visibility gaps and dependence on limited supply pathways.
• Develops approaches that help stakeholders recognize emerging shortages earlier and coordinate response across organizations.​

Quality Committee

• Drives practices to help ensure supply continuity.
• Works to embed quality and supply chain reliability into manufacturing, contracting, and procurement decisions.​

 Supply Readiness Committee

• Examines how production capacity sourcing decisions, and inventory practices contribute to shortages.
• Advances prevention strategies that improve preparedness and support consistent availability of essential medicines. ​

Pediatric & Special Populations Committee

• Identifies and calls attention to shortage risks that disproportionately affect patients with unique needs.
• Advances solutions that support timeline access to appropriate formulations and dosing.​
