Collectively we will end drug shortages through focus on transparency, quality, redundancy and production of additional supply to achieve measured and sustainable results.

A Growing Alliance

First established in December 2021 by Vizient, the End Drug Shortages Alliance (EDSA) has grown to a non-profit organization of over 80 dues-paying member organizations, including representatives from healthcare providers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, group purchasing organizations and other thought leaders.

The Alliance community values are founded on a spirit of transparency, resourcefulness, and the quest for change. Members join due to their passion and willingness to build industry relationships that impact patients and the future of health care.
